Unfortunately, earlier during the week my aunt lost her husband so on the day of my birthday I was at a wake celebrating his life. All is well, he’s in a better place & I pray for strength and comfort in his family. Last year I made a video to thank everybody who wished me a happy birthday, gave me something or did something with me on the day of to celebrate it. I figured I’d type it all up this time, so special thanks to everybody who wished me a good one.
Toni who kept me excited for it way before it even came. Mahada who popped up in the wee hours of the morning to drop off a cake and a huge balloon. Matt & Benny for canceling their meet and greets to hang with me. Franklin for canceling his hot date to hang with me. Nilson for his great pick. Jessica, Fabiola, Star, Ramata, Helina, Henry for going out with me. And Kaylie for taking me out to lunch.
PS Today is Devon’s birthday, he takes care of most of the music posts on here so wish him a good one because we know March babies rule the planet.
Last time I was in VA, Chris fell from ice from a bridge that overlooked water such as this one just not as subtle. A good view always makes me appreciate things, it’s a good way to slow down your busy lifestyle just to take a long deep breath before you step back into the world again.

I never had to step foot into a fabric store until this guy needed swatches and a shot in one. I was laughing to myself the whole time I walked in it because I knew it was like a whole new world. I over heard some lady talking to a store associate saying, “I want polyester you know, this is silk just not the same.” That’s only funny because it’s dialogue you will only encounter at a fabric store.
I shot this short video in between taking photos for Sebastien’s needs, it turned out neat in my eyes so I opted to share.
I am no longer a teen, I’m getting old and I can’t wait to get wiser. Today happens to also be my moms and her sisters birthday also. Thanks to everybody who wishes me a good one on this day.
We were out in VA sometime this past week to shoot a cover for Phella’s new project titled Winter Wonderland; making the best of winter. I’m excited to hear what he’s been cooking up because he surprises me each time. If you’ve never heard of Phella, start here.
At some point we saw a cute lake we couldn’t help but stop at for sight seeing. It turned out to be more fun that we anticipated because Chris ended up having the best fall known to man, it’s just too bad Phella wasn’t recording when it happened but we laughed for entirely too long after that.
We ended it all up by stopping at Denny’s and meeting up AJ. I discovered pancake balls, which are hella good by the way. And Phella was stuntin’ on this kid because he won a hippo from one of those fancy machines on his second try, cruelest thing I ever saw.
I’ve never gotten so many looks and smiles in one day like I did the other day I was seen with Linsey and her baby Gabby. I mean, I don’t even know how to explain it to you guys but your cool status when your seen with a cute baby in public gets all the way turnt up.
People probably thought we were a family or something but I’m pretty sure they also thought about how dark I was and how light Linsey was and how it could possibly create a tone as Gabby’s. Anyway, it was a fun day especially watching Linsey go through the whole Build A Bear routine which includes stuffing, washing, brushing, dressing, birth certificate making and etc, only in America.
Of all the times when I’ve actually seen a ton of firetrucks respond to a scene for whatever reason, yesterday was the first time I actually saw them do things fire fighters are supposed to do. I was on my way to the Howard ASA Fashion Show when I saw smoke filling up the sky around the neighborhood as the fire trucks raced towards it so what would you have done? Yup, I stopped by.
Not quite sure what really happened but it was pretty evident that there was a heavy amount of smoke in the air. I saw fire fighters attaching stuff to the fire hydrants and turning it on, running with all sorts of heavy things on them and all that other fun stuff they do. Good thing for this 135mm, it came in handy for these and it delivered. Hope nobody was badly injured if at all.
As a kid, I used to see all the super cool kids playing with these Gameboys and I used to hate every single one of them because I was the only one without one.
Maybe my mom just wanted me to be on top of school work rather than video games but until this day I always wanted to buy one of these just to have because I craved it as a child. I can’t even remember what my first video game system was, old age is kicking in but I do remember my first Playstation and playing Gran Turismo and Resident Evil all day long.
But, if your around me and whip this Gameboy out don’t be surprised if I say, “can I play with your gameboy?”
I was a PC, but I dumped it for a Macbook and I’m not one bit disappointed and I bet if you did the same thing you would be happier too. The only bad thing about being a Mac is, it makes everything on your screen look too good. So good to the point where if you peep over to the same picture, page, or whatever on a PC you just get so angry that they don’t see it as good as you do.
Welp, I’m just another guy who got sucked in by the Apple what do I know.
